Summary:

Irie Kynyk Goss Architects oversaw the consolidation of KSU Information Services from various sites around campus into a former residence hall. Surveying user needs and critical furniture and equpiment was the first step in a long, dialogue-driven planning process. Several different campus sites were considered, and the layout and design changed several times in response to end-user requests and preferences. This process culminated in the conversion of a former residence hall into a modern, light filled office building. The new single location accommodates all upper and departmental executive offices, several private and open office areas, campus IT hub equipment, training, meeting and presentation rooms, and ample breakroom and public areas overlooking playing fields.
